Panel data analysis of agricultural intensification trajectories 2002-2017 in Tanzania

The SAIRLA-funded University of Lund-led research project AFRINT IV project is analysing long-term data from smallholders in Malawi, Tanzania and Zambia to understand how gender, generation, and land-holding size affect their capacity to increase agricultural productivity. This brief provides an overview of the policy framework in Tanzania, district-level trends in agriculural intensification in Iringa and Morogoro followed by a description of stakeholders involved in agricultural intensification in these districts.
