SITAM: Analysis rural livelihoods, farming systems and resilience (Burkina Faso)

The SAIRLA-funded IIED-led research project ‘Sustainable Intensification: Trade-Offs for Agricultural Management’ (SITAM) seeks to understand how smallholder farmers in Africa manage the trade-offs between production, sustainability, environmental and socio-economic factors. This report presents the findings of a livelihood analysis study conducted in 2016-7 in the communes of Bilanga and Tibga in Burkina Faso.
