The SAIRLA-funded IIED-led research project ‘Sustainable Intensification: Trade-Offs for Agricultural Management’ (SITAM)seeks to understand how smallholder farmers in Africa manage the trade-offs between production, sustainability, environmental and socio-economic factors. This report presents the findings of a livelihood analysis study in the Mwansambo EPA Research Site in Malawi.
